What is michelle friedland?

Michelle Friedland is a United States Circuit Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She was nominated by President Barack Obama and confirmed by the Senate in 2014. Prior to her appointment, Friedland was a partner at the law firm of Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP, where she specialized in appellate and Supreme Court litigation. She also served as a law clerk to Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor and Judge David Tatel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. Friedland is a graduate of Stanford University and Stanford Law School. She has received numerous accolades for her work as a lawyer and judge, and is considered to be one of the leading legal minds in the country.
